Get to Know Dr. Caroline Krueger
Originally from Annapolis, MD, Dr. Caroline Krueger has been part of the world of dentistry for over half a decade, and she loves expanding her expertise so that she can provide a high level of care for patients. One of the most fulfilling parts of her job is connecting with people. Not only does she like listening to and understanding patients’ stories, but she also enjoys being able to create the perfect plan to restore or improve their smiles. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Dr. Krueger has dreamt of being a dentist ever since she was in the third grade. Growing up, her neighbor was a dentist who always passed out toothbrushes on Halloween. Unlike the other kids who would skip his house, she loved going to pick up her toothbrush and asking him questions about the work of a dentist as well as how to take care of her teeth. From then on, her interest in dentistry heightened and she went on to pursue a career in the dental field. Not only does the profession allow her to combine her passions in science and art, but she also gets to interact and connect with people while helping them achieve a smile they can be proud of.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Krueger first attended the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne for her undergraduate studies. She then studied at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine to receive her dental doctorate, graduating Summa Cum Laude in the top 5 of her class. She was also inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU) National Dental Honor Society. Aside from pursuing continuing education courses to refine her skills and expertise, she’s also an active member of professional organizations like the American Dental Association (ADA) and the Florida Dental Association (FDA).
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Krueger met her husband in 2015 while they were studying at Florida Tech. During that time, she was an NCCA All-American Women’s Lacrosse Player and was even recruited by her school to be part of the first Women’s lacrosse team. Today, she lives with her husband and their puppy named Murphy. They enjoy doing outdoor activities like paddle boarding, biking, and playing pickleball. They also like taking Murphy to the local farmer's markets as well as going to the annual Army vs. Navy Football games.
